The presentation will provide an overview of the regulations of the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) relevant for companies and put a particular focus on new developments for software-as-a-service offerings and new regulations for software (privacy by design and privacy by default).
Marc Hilber is specialised in advising companies on technology related transactions,
and in particular on joint ventures as well as outsourcing and software development projects. He advises on contract structuring for outsourcing and cloud computing, on software projects, e-commerce and on data protection law.
Marc is a partner of Oppenhoff & Partner. He was an associate and managing associate at Oppenhoff & Rädler / Linklaters LLP from 2002 to 2007. He studied law at the Universities of Passau, Angers, Illinois (LL.M.) and Cologne (Dr. iur.). As part of his legal training he worked for the US law firm Allegaert Berger & Vogel in New York.
