The 5th edition of SPM Summit India 2023 was co-hosted by IIM Bangalore’s Centre for Software and IT Management (CSITM) and the International Software Product Management Association (ISPMA) was held on March 3 and 4
Prof. Sadagopan led the summit as conference chair. Muthu Ranganathan was the program chair for industry track and Dr. Spurthy Dharanikota was the program chair for the academic track.
During the summit, many prominent leaders like Dr. Ajai Chowdhry, Founder HCL, Sharad Sharma, iSPIRT, Naveen Tewari, InMobi, Prof. Tony Wasserman, CMU (Silicon valley), Viraj Tyagi, eGov Foundation, Nalin Bansal, NPCI delivered inspiring talk on various aspects of software products & product management.
The SPM summit 2023 also included many presentations, panel discussions with experienced industry leaders. The SPM excellence awards were presented to Oracle Cerner, Eightfold AI, SellerApp, Zee Platforms.
On the academic track top 3 papers were selected and awarded with certificates. Using Mobile Ethnography as A Research Tool in Launching a New Social Media App by Sweta Thota came up as “Best Research Paper”
How product leaders can contribute to create SCA in Software product- based organisations? by Dr. Harbir Singh & Parental knowledge, attitude, and practice toward their children’s oral hygiene of age 2 to 12 years (A Web-Based Study) by Lipsa Aggarwal, Himakshi Lohani, Jyoti Sen and Pratibha Taneja are the first & second runner up respectively.
