Creating Agile Collaboration between Agile Business Analysts and Global Product Owners/Managers for International Rollout of IT Product

The presentation will address practical challenges of product managers (PMs) and product owners (POs) in the agile world. PMs and POs represent roles with responsibility for agile requirements engineering, for this, the impacts of those challenges on requirements engineering practices will be addressed, too. Furthermore, the presentation will discuss how the traditional role of business analysts has been changed in the agile world and how they could help PMs to overcome the discussed challenges. Finally, an agile collaboration model between the PMs, POs and the business analyst created within an organization with the aim to overcome the challenges especially in requirements elicitation will be presented.

The product manager at the SPSM 2022 listening to this presentation will get insights into how the PM role is described in the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). SAFe represents a very popular framework in the practice to establish large agile organizations. At the same time, they will be provided with a real life example from practice on the implementation of this role within an organization. Moreover, they will be introduced into an agile collaboration model created within an organization and learn how PMs collaborate with POs and business analysts to identify market/customer needs.
