Rapidly building product teams – Lessons & practical tips from three scale-ups

Over the last few years, I had the opportunity to build from scratch 10-20 people product / design teams three times, in a start-up, a mid-size company and a multinational giant. Repeating the process has taught me a few things along the way... How to find the right people, how to foster them, how to build size-appropriate processes and rituals, what it takes to build an innovative culture, how to get people to embrace - or at least manage - ambiguity. This session will offer a mix of concrete advice to rapidly scaling product teams - each with a practical tool that can be implemented from next week - as well as a few underlying frameworks for those who want to dig deeper.
