Dr. Merlin Nandy

Merlin is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur. She is also a Fellow of Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (Ph.D.) in Management Information Systems and a Mechanical Engineer from REC Rourkela (currently NIT). She teaches courses on Management Information Systems, IT Consulting, Managing Platform Business and IS Theories & Research for multiple programmes such as MBA, Executive MBA and PhD at IIM Sambalpur. Her research focuses on the adoption & use of different Internet based technologies by end users and organizations, platform businesses, e-commerce and digital transformation. She has published in various information systems and management conference proceedings and journals. Prior to her academic Merlin had industry experience that spanned more than a decade as a Managing Consultant and Senior Solution Manager at IBM India Private Ltd. She is a Certified Solution Consultant in SAP CRM Tele sales and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
