Products are the result of countless decisions, compromises and agreements.

Creating great software products requires a culture which is not yet established in German corporates. So how did American software corporates foster cultures which led to their dominance? How do we have to change if we want to increase our efforts in software?

The talk looks at American software players and how their culture is reflected in their products. What we can learn from them, if we want software to play a larger role in our economy.

Jonas Huthmacher has focused his career on improving the future through advancing technology. He recently joined PatentSight, the leading Patent analytics Platform as Head of Product, looking to scale teams, product, and business. Prior to this role, he worked at Mercedes Benz in house incubator where we helped turn ideas into products and ultimately businesses. His career started at Microsoft in sales where he learned what customers really want and was later given the opportunity to shape the product as Product Manager in the AI and Research organization.
