About the speaker:

Sami Hyrynsalmi is an Associate Professor (tenure track) of Software Engineering at LUT University, Finland. In addition, he serves as the academic head of the Software Product Management and Business Master of Science in Technology Programme in Lahti, Finland. Hyrynsalmi holds a doctoral degree in software engineering from the University of Turku, Finland. He has previously worked for the Turku School of Economics, Tampere University of Technology, and Tampere University. His research interests include software and its production, as well as software platforms and ecosystems.
