Nitin Deshpande is a seasoned business and technology leader with 44 years of experience building, scaling, and leading India operations for global enterprise software and healthcare IT companies. He has held senior leadership roles including President – Evolent Health International (India), President – Allscripts India, President & CEO – BMC Software India, and COO – Geometric Ltd, with responsibility for strategy execution, operations, and leadership
development at scale. He has also been an entrepreneur, founding software companies in India and North America in the manufacturing and ERP domains. Currently, Nitin works as a Strategic Advisor, partnering with CEOs and leadership teams on growth strategy, operating models, organizational effectiveness, and leadership mentoring, with a strong focus on healthcare technology, ERP, and digital transformation. He is a past President of the Software Exporters Association of Pune and continues as an advisor. He is also a past Chairman of the Pune chapter of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). In addition to his consulting work, he undertakes pro bono advisory engagements for select startups and his alma mater, IIT Bombay.
