“I believe in a strong international presence is required in today's networked society. I have spent more than 10 years of my professional life outside of Finland building networks and competences. I have worked as a full professor of software engineering both at NTNU in Norway and at Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in Italy. Both places were superb for working and living!

I am very experienced in research project leadership and working productively with software companies. ChatGPT, large language models, AI-assisted software engineering define my current research interests. Besides great research and breakthrough startups, my passion is in teaching the next generation of software leaders.”
